Announcement: A New Generation Of Fragrance And Beauty
March 19, 2006
SACRAMENTO - Dominga Auguste, spokesperson for MADAM THELMA PARFUMS has announced today that Madam Thelma, creative genius and founder of MADAM THELMA PARFUMS has retired. We are not taking any orders for our lovely fragrances at the present time. All fourteen (14) of her websites will, however, remain LIVE, in appreciation of her vast contributions to society, as well as her contributions to the cultural development and enrichment of the wonderful state of Louisiana. Her inspirational motivation is highly appreciated. This announcement will only be placed on this main website, but will be in affect for ALL fourteen websites indefinitely.
Madam Thelma was the first African American woman to graduate from the prestigious California State University at Hayward, California, with a BA degree in GERMAN, and attend the Free University of Berlin, Germany, in the entire statewide California State University system. She is also the first African American LUXURY, MODERN perfumer of fine fragrances in the state of Louisiana since the famed Madame C.J. Walker of the 20th Century. Madam Thelma's perfumes represent a new generation of modern fragrance and beauty. Madam Thelma launched her first perfume in Berlin, Germany.
The last perfume that she created just before her retirement is an amazingly beautiful fragrance dedicated to the beauty of the Cane River and historic Front Street, in Natchitoches, Louisiana. It's a cherished fragrance which she does not plan to release. "Very captivating", she says. Surely, Madam Thelma Haywood is a role model and woman of honor. Now retired, she continues to live in the beautiful Cane River Region.
We encourage you to contact us whenever we can be of assistance to you. (Retirement 2003)
Sincerely,
Miss Dominga
